BenJahmin spent his formative years in Manchester/ UK, soaking up the diverse music influences of this rain-drenched city and honing his musical talents in various bands and projects.

He grew up immersed within Rastafarian and Jamaican culture which deeply influenced his connection to the source of creation. After training as a Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2005 with I-SKY (International School of Kundalini Yoga), he started channelling his music through mantras, fusing a natural acoustic style with a deep love of Rasta and all things roots.

This lead to releasing four albums of mantra influenced music and touring all over Europe and the Middle East within the following decade.

During this time he also devoted himself to the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and Ayurveda, which lead to him becoming a Lead Teacher Trainer with I-SKY, which ran Teacher Training courses throughout Europe and Internationally.

He also trained to be a Kundalini Yoga Therapist under the tutelage and guidance of Guru Dharam Singh Khalsa, Shakti Dance with Sara Avtar and became a company director of a yogic training school which delivers teacher trainings within Europe.

His love of Mooji, Ganga Mira and vichara/ self enquiry brought him to move to Portugal from the UK in 2017.

BenJahmin is a keen martial artist and has a deep love for Shaolin, Ayurveda, healthy living and all things reggae/ roots.

His courageous and compassionate approach to life aims to give the student, patient or listener an empowering, nurturing and inspirational healing experience and taste of their True Nature.
